It's strange, this time of year. The impending New Year can... encourage us to reflect on any number of things, though by rights we should be far too busy to think about anything at all.

Do... do any of you perhaps wonder if the time you've spent here in Rivelata has... made you lose track of who you are, somewhat? The kind of person that you are meant to be?

[Very softly] Simply a thought. So many things are worlds away from what I know.

[There are some kitchen-y sounds, before white powder - flour, actually - spills across the book.

Well, seems it's my turn to get into the holiday spirit: thanks to the Lady Hannike and her lovely tree, Paradise Blossoms now has a good number of saplings for sale. They're quite small now, to allow for easier transportation, but if you purchase one, I will personally deliver it to your home and ensure that it is exactly the size you want.

They can be as big or small as you like, it's a...a talent I have. If anyone is interested, please stop by the shop any time.

The sound of glass breaking can be heard, as well as glass being crushed, and something that sounds like an odd flickering snap, like a flip switching repeatedly. The twins are talking to one another.]

Well! What a ride! After that mouse fiasco, I was sure this holiday season was going to be a trip of another colour, and it certainly is turning out to be one!

To help celebrate this holiday season, we will be selling Spark Crackers, which are festively coloured bars of chocolate that shoot fireworks when they're snapped in half. Not to worry! If you accidentally eat one before reading the instructions, the chocolate will simply crackle in your mouth! Quite harmlessly, I might add. It's a peculiar little sweet.

Also, as I realize there are only a few days left for last-minute gifts, we do have a select few potions on hand. Within the next week, I hope to have the Potions corner of the shoppe opened, but in the mean time, I do have a small selection of them. If anyone is interested, stop by or ask me here.

The Christmas season sure keeps the Market District busy! I've been baking every day for a fortnight now, but it's a lot of fun so I don't mind. I like seeing everyone's smiles when they excitedly buy sweets for their loved ones.

The big Christmas Tree is spectacular! I hope everyone's had a chance to admire it up close. I think with everything being so hectic, everyone needs to step back and just take a moment to enjoy the little things.

Now, does anyone have any requests for last-minute Christmas treats? I can whip them up and have them ready to pick up in a matter of hours.

All of those interested in acting in the play penned by Liz Lemon, pleased respond here. I have a list of those who expressed interest last time, but if you could follow up so that I might respond to you with a scheduled time for auditioning for parts, it would be most appreciated.

Those of you who indicated you might be willing to help, I would like to begin speaking with you as soon as possible for the arrangement of dress and sets.

A reminder that this will be the first, hopefully of many, plays that Lemon-san and I will be presenting in order to benefit charity organisations in Rivelata. Should you have any questions, we shall do our best to answer them in a timely fashion.

This is a reminder that it is now December 20th, which means if you haven't yet, you have a little under two weeks to make any sort of activity for your characters. Remember: two forms of activity are required for the month and they must be at least seven days apart. The type of activity that counts is as follows:

*** a journal entry in rivelata
*** a log entry in rivelatalogs
*** a comment to an entry in rivelatalogs (posted within the specific period's timeframe; the log that is being replied to can be older)
*** a quicklog entry in rivelatalogs OR a direct link to a comment thread in a quicklog entry involving your character, where your character has commented AT LEAST 5 times (all 5 comments must contain text). Only one quicklog per character is allowed to be used for activity checks.
